A Big Petals Thank You, Whole Foods

This week we wanted to dedicated our post to thanking one of our VERY important donors. The lovely floral department at our local Whole Foods donates the flowers used for arrangements each week.

So, if you were ever wondering where you can find flowers as lovely as the ones we use for our arrangements, Whole Foods on Eliot Rd. is the place to go!

Not only does Whole Foods provide the flowers they can each week, they even help our volunteers load them up into the car! How helpful!

In another effort of helpfulness, Whole Foods even specially accommodates The Arc and Petals with A Purpose one week each month, when we make a "double-delivery". In the first week of each month, some of our arrangements are sent to even more recipients than usual. In addition to sending them to St. Joseph's church, Foster's Market and Hospice care but also to a local senior center. On these days, Whole Foods provides double the amount of flowers as other weeks!
