Recently, Petals with A Purpose has started sending some of our signature handmade flower arrangements to new locations. Traditionally, we deliver the arrangements to a local food bank at St. Joseph's Church and to Foster's Market in Chapel Hill. But thanks to one of the lovely employees at the Arc, Marilyn, we now have the opportunity to brighten more days every week. Marilyn has begun dropping off flower arrangements to local hospice care facilities in addition to our usual flower recipient locations.
Sending these flower arrangements to hospice care provides a bright, uplifting gift for patients and their families. This is another way the Petals program can provide a random act of kindness and positively impact the community.
